Three decades of the Banarasi Gharana, taught guru to student
Baba School of Music has been teaching Indian classical music in the heart of Varanasi since 1995 — carrying forward the Banarasi Gharana's tradition of tabla, vocal and instrumental music through direct, guru–shishya style instruction.
What began as one teacher and a handful of local students has grown into a school trusted by learners across India, the US, the UK and Europe, without ever losing the discipline and warmth of its Varanasi roots.
